Császárszalonna is the traditional Hungarian bacon. The császárszalonna is both smoked and cooked and can be eaten immediately. The császárszalonna is used in the Hungarian cuisine in numerous ways and dishes. Very tasty with bread, in various soups, pastadishes and in combination with eggs.
Ingredients: Boneless bacon skin (87%), water (8%), salt, dextrose, stabilizer: pentasodium-triphosphate, potassium-chloride, animal protein, modified starch, gelling agent: carrageenan, yeast extract, antioxidant: sodium-erythorbate, thickener: xanthan gum, locust bean gum, smoke flavor, preservative: sodium-nitrite.
