Mushroom pörkölt - Gombapörkölt

This is a very delicious vegetarian dish. No meat needed!

Ingredients (4 pers.)
600-800g mushrooms
2 onions
1 tbsp. Paprika powder
2 dl. creme fraiche
1 tsp. Garlic cream
1 paprika
1 tomato
1 tbsp. flower

Preparation method
Clean the mushrooms and cut into slices or cubes. Peel and chop the onions. Heat oil in a large pan and fry the onion chips. After a few minutes, remove the pan from the heat and sprinkle the onion with Paprika powder. Wash the paprika, remove the seeds and cut into pieces. Wash the tomato and cut into cubes.

Add the mushroom pieces when the onion is golden brown. Add the paprika, tomato and garlic cream to the pan and add a splash of water. Bring to the boil and then simmer slowly over low heat. This takes ± 30 minutes. Stir regularly.

When the mushrooms are cooked, mix the flour with crème fraîche. Stir this mixture through the gombapörkölt and let it continue to drizzle. Serve the gombapörkölt with galuska or rice.
