Cucumber salad - Uborkasaláta

1 cucumber
½ tsp. salt
3 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. Garlic cream
4 tbsp. water
½ tsp. Paprika powder
1 dl creme fraiche
Pinch of black pepper

Preparation method
Slice the cucumber wafer-thin with a slicer. Mix in the garlic and salt. Leave covered for half an hour. Then squeeze the cucumber slices. Mix vinegar with sugar, water and a pinch of pepper and add this to the uborka.
Preferably let the uborkasalata rest covered in the fridge for 1 hour. Garnish with paprika and creme fraiche.
You can of course vary by adding thin slices of onion, tomato or bell pepper, for example.

Uborkasaláta is an ideal side dish alongside Hungarian classics such as rakott krumpli, pörkölt, paprikas krumpli and countless other dishes.
